of the Virginia Master Naturalist Program is now accepting applications
for its Cohort V training class,
which will begin Tuesday, August 31, 2010, and end by March 9, 2011.

| The 2010 Historic Rivers annual
picnic was held July 18. Ted and Judy Sargent hosted and provided
an astonishing setting, did most of the work. Great activities
were held throughout the day starting with a bird walk at 7:30 am and
ending with an owl prowl late in the evening. Ann Jurczyk talked
