The Williamsburg Bird Club held its annual Spring Bird Count Sunday, May 1.
Like the Christmas Bird Count, teams identifed and counted as many birds as they could within a 15-mile diameter circle centered at the Colonial Williamsburg Information Center. Each team had a section leader who knew birds well. The data collected will be very useful for understanding our local bird populations.
