The Speaker’s Bureau is a free community outreach service provided by the Historic River Chapter of the Virginia Master Naturalist (HRC-VMN). Our members are volunteer educators, citizen scientists, and stewards committed to helping Virginians of all ages to better understand and connect to the natural world, and to conserve and manage natural resources and public lands. VMN volunteers enjoy sharing their expertise, knowledge, and passion about nature with the Williamsburg area community.
Nature talks are available to local groups and organizations. After reviewing our list of talks, please submit your request to schedule a speaker using our online form. Talks are typically 30-60 minutes in length. Many of our speakers prepare illustrated PowerPoint presentations, and most speakers are adept at presenting online via Zoom, if preferred.
